Dropkick Murphys “The Singles Collection 1996-1997” was originally released for Europe under the title The Early Years-Underpaid and Out of Tune. The concept of this record was to make available in Europe much of the poorly distributed and/or out-of-print music from the bands early 7”s and EP’s. To the bands surprise, there was much demand for these recording in the states, as many people in the US were also unable to get their hands on the releases. The Dropkick Murphys soon decided to release this compilation of their early recordings in America as well. C&P.
