Dillinger Four - More Songs About Girlfriends And Bubblegum.
(Mutant Pop). Don't let the title fool you, the Dillinger Four are the last group of Midwesterners to spend all their lyrical energy on cutesy songs about love. Rather, their package of lyrical comments deal more with their stance on religion ("Twin City Sinners, United"), war, and the stress of being poor. Not that the songwriting is neglected either, as a backing of some of the catchiest guitar hooks and singalong vocals of More Songs ... continue the Dillinger Four's trademark of intelligent pop punk.
